Have you been noticing all our exciting updates recently?
It can be tough to keep track of all the little, positive things that happen week to week when we live such hectic lives. It's even tougher when our social media feeds are full of so much information from friends, family, news sources, apps and games.
To combat some of that noise, here are our newest changes, all listed in one convenient place.
The BLC is excited to announce our upcoming expansion into three new locations around Dayton! Over the course of the BLC's (nearly) five years of operations, we have seen phenomenal success and as a result have encountered ever greater levels of need in our community.
In Fall of 2016 we will begin opening BLC branch locations in conjunction with Catholic Social Services and the Day Reporting Center at the Dayton District Office of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Tutors will be needed at all four locations, so if you or someone you know has warmth, generosity, and joy of learning to spare, contact us today.
Says BLC Program Manager Barb Maloney:
All materials will be provided. All you need is the drive, and the drive is simple - to serve the underserved.
Tutor Training Workshops are scheduled to be offered in August and September. Take a look at the details of those sessions here, and contact us if you have questions or wish to reserve a spot in a program.
