These essential skills allow our students to move towards productive, self-sufficient, fulfilling lives. Every dollar invested in adult literacy yields $60 in community benefits. Kroger Community Rewards
You can contribute to the Brunner Literacy Center while you keep your family fed! All you have to do is:
Select The Brunner Literacy Center as your charity!
Under the Kroger Community Rewards program, Kroger pays up to $1 million to nonprofits each quarter. Kroger divides that money amongst participating organizations based on what percentage of Kroger's revenue that quarter came from each organization's supporters. So if BLC supporters make up even one tenth of one percent (0.1%) of Kroger's quarterly revenue, the BLC would receive $1,000 that quarter. Teamwork really helps with Kroger's system! Ask your friends and family to select the Brunner Literacy Center as their preferred charity too!
Thrivent Choice is a member-advised program that allows eligible members to recommend where Thrivent distributes part of its charitable outreach funds each year. When eligible Thrivent members direct Choice Dollars® to the Brunner Literacy Center in a particular month, Thrivent reviews the recommendation and makes an electronic deposit to the BLC's bank account by the 10th of the following month. Click here to learn more about becoming a Thrivent member.
The Brunner Literacy Center is incorporated as a non-profit agency in the state of Ohio and is designated as a 501(c)3 by the Internal Revenue Service. Your financial contributions to the Brunner Literacy Center are claimable as deductions when you file your taxes each spring.
In order to respond to the many persons who request a second chance at education, the Center is dependent on the generous time, talents and treasures of others. The time and talents of volunteer tutors and staff are at the heart of the services given.
The donations and grants from individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations are vital to the continuation of our programs. Donations may be designated as a tribute to someone, or in memory of a person who has taught or encouraged another to read.
