Why does the CDC say we should quarantine for 10-14 days?
Most people show symptoms after 5 days, but not everyone does. It is important to pay attention to your symptoms for 14 days after you’ve been around someone who has COVID-19, even if you get a negative test result.
David was contagious on day 8 but did not have symptoms until day 10. This is why the CDC asks us to be careful with masks and distancing, even when we feel well.
