Brunner Literacy Leaders are a special group of donors who pledge a monthly contribution. Literacy Leaders will be invited to provide input and advice as we work together to combat adult illiteracy in Dayton.
Monthly donations provide financial stability that allows the Brunner Literacy Center to grow, to serve more students, and to explore new ways to combat adult illiteracy in Dayton.
Over the course of one year...
$10 per month provides a student with weekly transportation to and from the BLC.
$25 per month pays for 3 complete sets of GED textbooks and workbooks.
$50 per month covers the total cost of a student's tutoring and materials.
For more information, questions, or to sign up off-line, contact Jessica or Bridget at 937-567-9600.
Your monthly, tax-deductible contribution will help adults with low-literacy improve reading, writing, math and conversational English skills. These essential skills allow our students to move towards productive, self-sufficient, fulfilling lives. Every dollar invested in adult literacy yields $60 in community benefits. Adults who participate in adult literacy programs see significant gains in income over time. Learn more at www.brunnerliteracy.org/facts.
