The GED®️ Proctor/ Office Assistant facilitates the life-altering process of GED®️ acquisition for BLC students at the Day Reporting Center (DRC). S/he will be responsible for preparing the facility, administering and monitoring tests, and closing down the GED®️ testing center. S/he must adhere to ethical standards of test administration. The GED®️ Proctor will enter student records into an online database when GED®️ administration responsibilities do not demand immediate attention. In the event that no tests are administered on a given day and data entry is up to date, the GED®️ Proctor will be asked to assist with office maintenance, such as making copies of forms.
A GED®️ Proctor is needed during operational hours of the BLC at the DRC. Proctor hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
